Does Cat DB buy converters?
All pricing is provided by a USA based third-party cat buying company. Check out your buyers information page to learn more about the buyer that backs the pricing in your area.
Cat DB is a tech company, we manage the app platform & cat database. We do not participate in or take any fees from cat trading transactions.
When you use Cat DB you get an app that’s fully managed by a software company and a buyer that only handles buying, the best of both worlds.
How do I contact customer service?
We are available by text or email to answer any questions you have regarding the app, its tools, subscription or billing questions, or if you need help finding a converter in the app. For questions regarding the sale of converters, contact the third-party buyer that purchases in your area.
Can I display my company's pricing on Cat DB and be a buyer for my state or territory?
Our company is open to discussing collaborations with specific states or territories within the USA as well as with foreign countries. Contact us at talk@catdb.app for more info.
Are you willing to sell the 3D models?

Does Cat DB have other apps or products?
We currently only offer the Cat DB app for public use, but we are working on many other projects. Please contact us at talk@catdb.app with your project ideas.
About Selling
Who is the cat buying company?
All pricing in the app is provided by a third-party buyer that will honor that price in your area. This high level buyer delivers a top tier guaranteed price with full transparency throughout the buying and selling experience.
How do I ship converters?
Your buyer will provide you with options from large and small shipping to pick-ups and drop-offs. For complete step-by-step instructions on how to ship cats, read the guide or watch the video on our website.
How do I start selling?
Tap the button at the bottom of your cart “Send to Buyer”. This will open a pop-up that confirms your contact information. Check the boxes granting permission to share this information so they can contact you. Then just hit “send now” and you will hear from them soon.
Who do I contact about grading & pricing?
If you need assistance finding a converter in the app our customer service is always available. If you are ready to sell and have questions about selling, shipping, or need price quotes for parts that are not listed in the app, you can contact your buyer. Cat DB does not participate in cat trading transactions.
About the App
What are tokens?
Tokens are universal search credits that never expire as long as you have a subscription or trial. You can bank them in your account and they will be available to use when your daily or monthly search credits run out.
What version of iOS should I be using?
Cat DB currently supports iOS 15 or newer. Please update your phone so that all the tools will work correctly.
How do I know the information is accurate?
Our database was built by a team of professional cat buyers and is constantly being updated by YOU, our users. Contributions of vehicle matches, missing cats, and data errors will be rewarded with free search tokens. All pricing is backed by a USA third-party cat buying company.
Is the app free?
Yes! You can search 3x per day* for free. No commitment or credit card required. Try it out for 30 days without logging in, then create an account to stay on “free forever”.
If you need more searches, start with a free 7-day trial of UNLIMITED* on Level 2. There are 3 paid plans for businesses that need a higher search volume.
We do not take any fees from cat transactions, our only revenue comes from subscriptions, which is how you know we’re putting your needs first.
What tools are available in the app?
Check out the long list of app features on the tools page . All 3 subscription tiers include ALL of our tools. However, on “free forever” you can’t access the “profit margin” tool. And you must be logged in to utilize the advanced cart.

We are a USA based company and currently our database covers American codes & generics only. We’re open to collaborating with foreign cat buying companies to utilize our software for codes & vehicle matching in their country/region.
